Peyd Account Deletion Policy
Last updated: 2025
1. Overview
This Account Deletion Policy outlines how users can permanently delete their merchant account within Peyd and what happens to their data after deletion. This policy is fully compliant with Google Play’s account deletion requirements.
By submitting an account deletion request, you acknowledge that the process is permanent and irreversible.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
You can delete your account using one of the following methods:
- Inside the Peyd app → Settings → Account → Delete Account
- By sending an email request to: delete@peyd.app
Your identity may be verified to prevent unauthorized deletions.
3. What Data Will Be Deleted
Once you request deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Merchant profile and business data
- Contact information (email, phone, address)
- Login credentials and authentication records
- Device information associated with your account
- All optional or non-essential data you previously provided
Deleted information cannot be restored after processing is completed.
4. Data That Cannot Be Deleted
Certain information must be retained even after account deletion due to legal, regulatory, and financial compliance requirements. We are required to keep:
- Past transaction records
- Invoices and settlement reports
- KYC/KYB verification logs (for legally required periods)
- Fraud-prevention and security logs (for limited periods)
This retained data is kept securely and used strictly for compliance—never for marketing or analytics.
5. Processing Timeline
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7–30 days, depending on identity verification and ongoing compliance checks.
You will receive a confirmation email once your account is deleted.
